In advance of starting his legal career, James graduated from The Ohio State University, where he studied environmental science and ecology. Prior to “taking his talents to South Beach”, James studied law at the University of South Carolina where he served as an editor on the American Bar Association Real Property Trust and Estate Law Journal, represented his school at multiple (including national) Moot Court competitions, and volunteered his time through the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society.
Before joining Perry & Neblett, P.A. James worked first as a law clerk and after passing the Florida Bar, as attorney for a high-end, boutique Real Estate, Commercial Litigation, and Transactional firm in Fort Lauderdale, where James honed his skills in legal reading, writing, and research. James gained valuable experience by representing his clients at dozens of court hearings, at mediation, arbitration, depositions, and at trial.
At Perry & Neblett, James tirelessly lends his talents to assist the firm’s trial litigation practice in its steadfast representation of clients from intake, throughout the course of litigation, and at trial. James is devoted to fighting hard for each and every case to ensure Perry & Neblett’s clients are given stellar and steadfast representation when taking on formidable opponents.
A nature enthusiast and enjoyer of Florida’s sunshine, waters, and year-round warm weather which attracted James to make the move to the Sunshine State, James can be found spending his free time taking in Florida’s State Parks, enjoying the beach, kayaking, and playing golf. James remains proudly connected to his Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky roots as a bourbon collector, Cincinnati Reds fan, and enjoyer of hometown favorite Skyline Chili.
